Sculpture and windows

About this photo:

This photo was taken in la Defense business district in Paris, France. Paris is an amazing city with a huge number of artists and interesting artworks. I came across this unique cylinder shaped sculpture covered by color strips. Due to the slightly uneven glass surface of the windows, the reflections of those color strips turned out to be little abstract art paintings.

Nature’s Symmetry

About this photo:

This photo was taken in Yoho National Park from Canadian Trip in 2016. While my wife and I was heading to Takkakaw Falls, we was caught by heavy rain falls then big snow storm on the road. As driving became dangerous, we decide to stay at an unknown hotel found at road side. It was the only night we stayed in hotel instead of tent in campground during our 12 nights stay. Soon, the storm came to an end and it cleared up quickly. I caught one of the most beautiful view in that trip.

Xiahao Old street

About this photo series:

Chongqing, located in south-western China with a large population of 28 million, is a city of rich history and culture.

Administratively, it is one of China’s four municipalities under the direct administration of central government (the other three are Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin).

It is also the place where the Jialing River merges into the Yangtze River, which makes bridges important and a key symbol of Chongqing.

Chongqing is developing from year to year. Tradition and contemporary are presented in a harmonic and co-existing way. Dongshuimen Bridge and Qiansimen Bridge are tween bridges located in the heart of Chongqing. They share similar look and lay across Yangtze River and Jialing River respectively. As the major transportation bridge between Chongqing’s busiest district and built in the fast developing years of Chongqing, they bear the heartbeat of the metropolis and witness the changes of Chongqing from the past.
