Arno River Waterfront after sunrise in Florence

Arno River Waterfront after sunrise in Florence with Ponte Vecchio and Italian buildings. Long exposure is used to smooth the river and sky. This art piece depicts the story in early Rome history right after its founding by Romulus.
Seeking wives in order to establish families, the Romans negotiated unsuccessfully with the Sabines, who populated the surrounding area. Romans then grabbed the Sabine women and fought off the Sabine men, which leaded to war between Roman and Sabine later. With their fathers at one side and their husbands and children the other side, Sabine women intervened and stopped the war. The battle came to an end, and the Sabines agreed to unite in one nation with the Romans.
